Is fried chicken bad to eat even if you pull the skin off?

Is fried chicken still bad for you if you pull the crunchy greasy skin off?Is fried chicken bad to eat even if you pull the skin off?
Peeling the skin off DOES make it better.. but its still cooked in oil, and it does seep into the meat.. so its not the best option.

Ideally boneless, skinless chicken breast poached in broth or water, is the healthiest chicken..you keep the nutrients and moisture that can be lost in roasting or grilling...

...but really.. who can eat that all the time?

bland city.

Keep peeling the skin (if you can resist).. and walk an extra mile to clear your conscience. Is fried chicken bad to eat even if you pull the skin off?
if your really worried about it being bad, try it baked instead.
No, it is the skin that is bad for you. ...but let's face it,,,,broiled is still better for you so all the grease is left in the pan...either way though, you shouldn't eat the skin..
it is supposed to be better if it is baked or grilled but if you peel off the skin you should be okay if you are not supposed to have fried foods....as long as the meat is not greasy, peeling the skin off will be okay
Of course it would be better without the skin but I am positive the chicken absorbs the oil too not just the skin.
fried chicken isn't bad at all as long as you dont eat it at all the time, but pulling of the skin should make it less harmful to your body
Its not bad for you, its just not the healthiest!
you can do as you please ...

I have never bothered to be picky with food..

Just glad I have it to eat..
But I want all your crunchy greasy skin!!!

Do you really believe that fried foods are bad for you? They really aren't. The fats in the fried foods slow down the absorbtion of the carbohydrates in the food.

Fats, the saturated kind, are necessary to good brain function from the cholesterol produced, and for nice healthy skin and shiny healthy hair.

Why do you think the lotions, potions, and creams for rehydrating skin have boomed in the last 50 years while we were eating low to no fats???? And Alzheimers has increased to near epidemic portions???
yep its fine if u take the skin of, but remember though, its fried, and COOKED with the skin on so all the fatty juices will have absorbed into the meat whilst cooking, but if u must have fried chicken, it wud be alot less fattening without the skin, :)) anyway sod it, enjoy ur god damn chicken :D x0x0x0x
Then what would be the point of eating it??????? LOL!

I'm Southern...and by God, pulling off the skin..the crunchy greasy part is an OFFENSE to all Southerners!

Pulling off the skin renders it, in my opinion, devoid of all taste, texture and fun....

lol
dont no but i realy like fried chicken
