If you groom a dog does the actions produce oils on the skin?

My dog loves being brushed - you only have to show her the brush and she's there straight away. She's short coated but has quite a thick coat and I brush her regularly, but in spring and autumn I make sure I brush her daily to help her get rid of her winter and summer coat. When I brush her daily her fur is much softer and I wondered if oils were produced through her skin which are brushed onto the fur to make it softer? If you groom a dog does the actions produce oils on the skin?
You stimulate the blood supply which in turn stimulates the supply of natural oils. Regular brushing is far better than bathing which destroys the natural balance of oils etc. in the hair.If you groom a dog does the actions produce oils on the skin?
GROOMING SHOULD BE PART OF A DOGS DAILY ROUTINE YOUR ON THE RIGHT TRACK KEEP IT UP . GROOMING IS A SOCIAL EXPERIENCE BETWEEN DOG AND HANDLER IT NOT ONLY FEELS GOOD IT BENEFITS THEM AS YOU HAVE FOUND OUT BY FEELING THE FUR BEING SOFTER. GROOMING THE COAT THE OPPOSITE WAY CLEANS ANY DEBRI OUT LOOSE HAIR OUT GIVES US A CHANCE TO CHECK SKIN FOR ANY HEALTH PROBLEMS AND AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH HAIR IS A FOLICLE GROOMING STOPS IT FROM GETTING BLOCKED AND ALLOWS OIL TO MERGE WITH DOGS COAT MAKING IT NOT ONLY SHINE BUT ITS THE DOGS NATURAL WATER REPELLANT FINALLY ITS A SENT MARKER HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A DOG BRUSH BY SOMEONE OR SOMETHING WELL IT LEAVES A SCENT ON THAT THING TO SAY THIS IS MY TERRATORY OR MY OWNER, GROOMING DAILY LESSENS CHANCES OF ANY HEALTH PROBLEMS FORMING IN THAT DEPARTMENT, HEARS AN INSTANCE IF YOUR DOG HAS EVER SWAM IN THE SEA WHEN DRY HIS COAT IS NOT AS SHINY AS IT WAS THE SALT WATER WASHES OUT THE NATURAL OILS OF COURSE IT COMES BACK AFTER A FEW DAYS OF GROOMING OR DOG BEING IN THE RAIN OR SWIMMING IN A FRESH WATER RIVER.
Yes, it stimulates the oils and is very good for the coat. That's why a brushed, groomed dog looks so much shinier that an unkempt dog. Good For you!
When you brush you remove debris and dead hair leaving the coat healthier. Also you do distribute the oils a bit with the brushing action.
Yes it stimulates the oils, removes the dander ( dead skin cells) and old ,loose hair, and surface dirt and helps you to bond with the dogs
Not really, I've studied dogs. They lick themselves with the oils they bring up.
i have noticed that in my pup too but from what i have read, i dont think that it does produce oils when brushed
