Is drawing on your skin reallly bad for you?

I love doodling on my hands and arms. Usually with pen or sharpie.





How bad is this for your skin? I've been told by people you can get ink poisoning but, that's not true because, the ink has to enter your blood stream.





But, are there any other things that I should worry about?

It is poisoning, it really does enter into your bloodstream. I used to write things down in my hand, but after i learn that it affects you, now I carry a notepad in my pocket for anything i need to write down or take note of something.Is drawing on your skin reallly bad for you?
If by any chance you cut yourself by pressing down too hard or go over a cut then yes you have a chance of getting ink poisoning. But as for any other way I dont think so.
