I have a darker skin tone can I get a color tattoo?

I have an Indian/Bronze/Brown skin tone. It's not as dark as African Americans (I am mixed) but it's not olive either.





What colors would actually show up? My friend is darker than me and she got a color tattoo that didn't show up at all.





Any advice? I have 2 tattoos already and they are black but I wanted to spice it up a bit.I have a darker skin tone can I get a color tattoo?
I am dark complected, and I have color tattoos. Make sure you go to a REAL shop not a hole in the wall type of joint! The only problem I have is the shade of color the lighter the color/brighter the color the better it looks on me!!!I have a darker skin tone can I get a color tattoo?
You can get all the colors you want. I know a mexican guy that has crazy color work.


Just ask the the artist and he will tell you if it will look good or not.
You can get colors, just ask them to use very vivid colors....like reds, oranges and yellows. You should probably stay away from darker blues and purples. It is also a good idea to as the artist that will be doing your tattoo if he/she is any good they will give you advice on what colors will look best with your skin tone.
the only color i can think of that may not look so bad is a red or sky blue. a friend if mine is i guess what u would call a dark Indian and she got a butterfly tattoo with blue and red and it still looks nice.
sure just make sure they use bright vibrant colors instead of something like a dark blue :D
