How do you relieve skin irritation after touching a habanero pepper?

How do you relieve skin irritation after touching a habanero pepper? I chopped 6 of them for salsa, along with 4 green jalapenos %26amp; 3 red jalapenos, instead of using a utensil to pick up the chopped peppers I scooped them up with my left hand (not thinking about the capsasin {sp?} getting on my skin).... Now my left hand is burning like fire and this was over 7 hours ago. What can I do to stop the burning, if anything? How do you relieve skin irritation after touching a habanero pepper?
Rinse your hand in milk as it will neutralize the acid in the capsacin. Rinsing in water won't help because the capsacin is oil based. How do you relieve skin irritation after touching a habanero pepper?
cold milk...
cold milk, or wash your hand with cold and salted water
my husband carlos says to use butter or baking soda%26amp;water paste..
Rinse with cold milk and apply Lactocalamine.
Try washing your hands in alcohol a couple of times. That should help. You can also try milk, honey, and/or a paste of baking soda. It will go away in time, but you will have some residual for a long time. Be careful not to rub mucous membranes, or especially your eyes or genitals with that hand!
Wash your hands with toothpast.
