My dog has dry skin what can I put on here to make hre stop iching?

We have put baby powder on her and gave several baths. My dog has dry skin what can I put on here to make hre stop iching?
One of the first things you should do is to stop bathing for awhile. Bathing actually strips the coat of its natural oils, so bathing is drying out the skin even further. I would also recommend stopping the baby powder...it was formulated for humans, not dogs, and it can alter the pH of their skin and cause more problems. Try using fish oil capsules mixed in with your dog's food. You may also want to consider switching to a better quality food as this one is evidently insufficient. My dog has dry skin what can I put on here to make hre stop iching?
Baths may make the problem worse. Feed her a great quality dog food - this is the best you can do.

Don't wash your dog very often as this will give them dry flaky skin. Also if that does not apply you need to watch what you are feeding them. Some foods such as ones with lamb in them tend to cause dry skin. Try changing your dogs food for a week or two and see if that helps.
Give him wild salmon and fish oil caplets, but make sure they have no soy
Firstly, make sure it's not fleas.Secondly bathing her too much will make her skin dry.She may have allergies to ';something'; it may be in her food wheat, corn, soy and sometimes Chicken can give dogs problems.Get her to the Vet and let him decide. She may have mites as well.Vet visit will make you feel better and her too.
try bathing in oatmeal shampoo but don't bath dog to much it causes dry skin. if it prob cont. bring to vet becouse it could be mange or alleges
best thing i found for dry skin on a dog is vitiman E gel
frst of all, NEVER put baby powder on a dog! that can cause skin problems! i advise the BEST and NATURAL way is tea tree oil. make some you can get it from any grocery store and rub a little on your dogs itchy irritated spots once a day, everyday. it helps the hair grow bac while at the same time its like an aloe that soothes their skin. its good for human use too.
Look at your dogs diet and make sure she is getting a nutritious dog food with few fillers. You can also supplement her food with an oil such as a Salmon oil. This makes my dogs coat shiny and softer. It can also be due to an allergic reaction so you might want to check with the vet.
The baths are the problem

More than 1 bath every other week will make a dog's skin dry out.
I would stop with the baths. A lot of baths can cause dry skin. I would put a stop to the baths for now and see if she gets better.
