Why do you think so many girls cannot embrace their natural skin colour and resort to tanning?

I dont know. There are so many make-up products that dont work so they just do because it looks more attractive. I personally don't like to tan becaus I focus on other things like clothes or hair. Because no person is gonna be like ';I love your skin because it's tan'; but a person is going to have a fair chance of saying, ';hey, I like your hair today'; or, ';hey, love the shirt on today'; I love my natural skin color if that helps :DWhy do you think so many girls cannot embrace their natural skin colour and resort to tanning?
Because they're at an age where they feel like the ill effects (cancer, nasty leathery skin, wrinkles, sun spots, moles, dried out gross hair etc.) will never catch up with them.


I never understood it. I think those girls always look completely trashy, and I know they're going to look old way before I do.Why do you think so many girls cannot embrace their natural skin colour and resort to tanning?
Tan skin makes your body look hotter and its not attractive to have pale white skin..on most people at least..some are ok.


but tanning makes you look much better.


and because we just feel like it.
well I am pretty pale myself so I'm going to have to say that a tan always makes a person look better so that's probably why lol
tanning makes you look slimmer.
