How do I make my skin glow and look shiny like models, actresses, etc?

I am african american and try to make my skin glow and look flawless but I do not know what to use. If I do achieve the affect it only lasts for about 30 minutes then my skins looks dull again. How do I make my skin glow and look shiny like models, actresses, etc?
You have to avoid using products formulatted with animal products and with mineral oil..... the problem is that they will not get abosorbed by our skin and what it does is that it gives the dullness to your complexion.... let me explain, using products with mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin, it is like rubbing car oil and exposing yourself to the sun it will clog your pores. Also using animal products is gross and a waste of time.. animal products come form dead animals and what they do is that they pick all dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc, and they put them in a huge pot squash everything inside and boil it, the oil that comes to the top is what other companies use to formulate their ';beauty'; products groosss i know and ever the lipstick come form here.... agghhhh ... anyway, the use of collagen is from animals so never buy products containing collagen, collegen is a huge molecule and will not be absorbed by our skin, you could see a difference but it is superficial and what you want to do is for the effect to last long and penetrate deep inside for those lines to be less noticeable..... anyway, i started using these botanically based products called arbonne and they are really amazing... they are not sold in stores but i buy them online and visit their web page for extra info .... http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com they could give you so much info on different topics for a healthy skin .... i know it is too much info but hopefully helpful and interesting ....;~)How do I make my skin glow and look shiny like models, actresses, etc?
try using witchhazel

it is a natural astringent and it will cleanse your skin while shrinking pours and making your skin healthier.... I use it everyday and I have no complaints about my skin...
baby oil. but don't use it on your face- you don't want zits!
lots and lots and lots of water. you need to buy skin care products for your skin type. I don't use soap on my skin and haven't for many years. there are alternatives out there which don't dry the skin as much. Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. If you do wear make-up, it is very very important to get the right type of make up for your skin type as well. Lastly, never ever ever go to sleep at night with makeup on.
Victoria's Secret makes a good line of ';spa'; products. The body scrub and whipped body cream are really nice and smell great too.
apply baby oil after bathing
tinted moisturizer works wonders on my skin....try it =)
Spend three hours a day with your stylist. That's what they do.

Do a google image search for ';celebrities without makeup'; and you'll feel much better about your own natural looks.
No matter what their skin color is, there are two things that models do to make their skins look the way that they do.

1-They use a skin slougher. That's any sort of a system to get the dead, dull skin cells off of the surface of the skin.. You don't need fancy, expensive cosmetics for this--something as simple as a mixture of sugar and cooking oil-rubbed onto the skin all over and then rinsed off with soap, will do the trick. You then put a regular moisturizer (or Palmer's cocoa butter, or coconut oil, or whatever you like best) on your skin to keep it soft and moist.

2-The shiny stuff that you see in ads is a special body (or facial) moisturizer that has very finely-ground-up sparkly stuff in it. It might be fish scales, or it might be a mineral like mica, but it reflects light back and gives skin a glow. Many of those makeups that have the words ';age defying'; on them have this type of ingredient in them. So what you want is a tinted moisturizer that has the shiny stuff in it. You can probably find several brands. Look in the made-for-women-of-color makeup lines first, because they won't have stuff in it to make your skin look ashy. I think that Avon might have some good moisturizers that do this, too.
Models and all do touch ups all the time......they don't really have such great skin. The best thing you can do is drink LOTS of water everyday. Say goodbye to pimples, acne, blackheads and get ready for really nice skin
Professional makeup artists and proper lights.
No artificial methods!!! good health good food good care for your skin.

I have seen before and after pictures of some models and trust me all is not as it seems. Some look so good because they are caked in make up others probably look after their skins really well. I'd suggest that you make sure you drink plenty of water, steam your face every once in a while and use natural products. Avoid chemicals. Eat plenty of fruit and veg and avoid greasy foods
